So here's where we're at as we head to Week 9: CLASS 4A EAST Twelve of 16 berths have been determined, including two league champions. Iowa City High (8-0) has clinched the MVC Mississippi Division title while Clinton (8-0) is the Mississippi Athletic Conference champion. Linn-Mar (7-1) can win the MVC Valley Division crown if it defeats Iowa City West. Regina grabs big lead at Class 2A state golf meet

Gazette staff report MARSHALLTOWN — Iowa City Regina appears to be well on its way to winning the Class 2A girls state golf championship. The Regals, led by seniors Missie and Katie Feuerbach, shot a first-day 332 on Monday at the Legion Golf Course, 30 shots better than second-place Carroll Kuemper. Decorah’s Peter leads area boys

Andrew Peter of Decorah leads area boys' golfers with an adjusted average nine-hole score of 38.44, according to the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association rankings, released Monday.
