Clayton Ridge's Jeremy Greve's blue-collar big rushing show was the difference in a wild shootout between the Eagles and Cascade Friday night. Greve trucked for 214 yards and five touchdowns on 24 carries and Clayton Ridge survived the Cougars' fourth-quarter rally storm to win, 38-34, in Guttenberg, Iowa. Clayton Ridge rolls up 466 rushing yards in an impressive season-opening win

Golf postseason hits stride today

Prep golfers hit the course for Iowa High School Athletic Association championship meets today as 35 sectional meets in all three classes across the state. Decorah senior Andrew Peter will look to defend his individual state title, and help lead the Vikings back to the Class 3A state meet. After missing the postseason on a tiebreaker last year, Clayton Ridge isn’t leaving anything to chance.
