CEDAR RAPIDS — Megan Furnish can compete with the best golfers. The Cedar Rapids Jefferson sophomore proved that well before she swung a club for the J-Hawk varsity team. Here are the Class 1A district assignments. The top two finishers at each district, in both singles and doubles, advance to the state meet May 28 and 29 at Byrne Park Tennis Complex in Waterloo. Waterloo Columbus and Davenport Assumption host districts with Gazette area teams. South Tama plays at a district hosted by Pella Christian.
