State GBB: Monday’s games

Monday’s games at the girls state basketball tournament:


Iowa City Regina (19-4) vs. No. 2 Lawton-Bronson (24-1)

Time: 8:30 p.m.

Tournament history: Regina is making its third trip and its first since 2003. Lawton-Bronson is here for the fourth time.

Coaches: Regina Coach Clark Anderson is 58-13 in three seasons. Lawton-Bronson Coach Trish Martin is 42-7 in two seasons.

Key players: Jenna Lehman (sr.) leads the Regals at 16.5 points per game. High-scoring Lawton-Bronson has three double-figure scorers — Josie Kopal (sr., 19.6 ppg), Ashley Williams (jr., 15.0) and Taylor King (sr., 14.1 ppg).
