She wasn’t the only one. Four Cougars hit double figures in scoring as they rolled to a 64-43 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson on Athletic Hall of Fame Night Friday night at Kennedy.
Meier hit four straight 3-pointers in the third quarter to help Kennedy (11-7)
Paige Hendrickson led Kennedy in scoring with 16 points. Taylor Jacobson had nine points for Jefferson.
MARION 46, WILLIAMSBURG 40
Beth Knapp hit three treys and finished with 19 points for the Indians (13-6, 10-3 WAMAC West) and Michalyn Mohr added 15 in the win at Marion. Lindsay Schlabaugh paced Williamsburg (13-7, 8-5 WAMAC West) with 17.
IOWA CITY WEST 69, WATERLOO EAST 28
Ally Disterhoft scored 33 points and became Iowa City West’s career-scoring leader with 1,455 points, surpassing the record previously held by Maureen Head (1996-2000) by one point.
Dani Craig added 12 points for the Women of Troy (115-4, 9-2 MVC).
