CEDAR RAPIDS — Taylor Jacobson could have picked a college career in track or basketball. Or both.

She chose track.

Jacobson has committed to run at the University of Northern Iowa.

A senior at Cedar Rapids Jefferson, Jacobson was a member of the J-Hawks’ state-championship 800-meter relay team in 2011. That foursome also finished second at the Drake Relays that spring.
