Jefferson edges Wahlert

C.R. JEFFERSON 57, DUBUQUE WAHLERT 49

Dani Stromert scored 13 points and had three steals to lead Cedar Rapids Jefferson to a 57-49 victory last night at Dubuque Wahlert.

Kaitlyn Davidson, Taylor Jacobson and Rachel Broghammer added 10 points apiece for the J-Hawks (2-4).

Logan Lynch led all scorers with 17 points for Wahlert (1-3).

C.R. XAVIER 46, DUBUQUE SENIOR 41

Ashley Stulken scored 13 points and pulled down 14 rebounds for Xavier at home.

Hayley Deutmeyer added 15 points for the Saints (4-1).

Katie Sommer led Senior (3-2) with 16 points.

MARION 65, WATERLOO COLUMBUS 51

Michalyn Mohr scored a game-high 18 points for host Marion.

Amanda Sahm scored 14 points and Beth Knapp added 12 for the Indians (3-2).

Anna Strien drained four 3-pointers and finished with 17 points for Waterloo Columbus (1-4).

C.R. KENNEDY 49, LINN-MAR 31

Jordan Holmes and Stephanie Botkin led the Cougars (4-0, 3-0 MVC) with 16 and 11 points, respectively, in a win at Linn-Mar.

Mykaela Brandt scored 15 points for the Lions (2-3, 1-2 MVC) and Sara Strauel grabbed nine rebounds.

C.R. WASHINGTON 68, DUBUQUE HEMPSTEAD 41

Abby Herb finished with a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double to lead host Washington in an MVC matchup Tuesday night.

Danielle Franklin scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed four rebounds for the Warriors (2-2, 1-3 MVC), while teammate Devin Glenski added nine points.

Kortnie Leatham paced Hempstead (2-3, 0-3 MVC) with seven points.
