Linn-Mar’s Sara Strauel tied the game with 10 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime, but host Iowa City West outscored the Lions, 9-2, in the extra period.

Ally Disterhoft scored a game-high 22 points for the Class 5A fifth-ranked Women of Troy (4-0, 2-0 MVC), while Mikaela Morgan added 15.

Strauel had 17 points and Kristen Eiles chipped in 11 for Linn-Mar (2-2, 1-1 MVC).

C.R. PRAIRIE 55, WATERLOO EAST 17

Courteney McCrary, Olivia Usher and Madison Dellamuth scored 11 points each to lead Prairie at Waterloo. Cyerra Hutchins added eight points and eight rebounds for the Prairie Hawks (3-1, 2-0 MVC). Shakari Baker-Bruce led Waterloo East (0-4, 0-2 MVC) with 10 points.

CEDAR FALLS 53, C.R. JEFFERSON 47

The J-Hawks (1-4, 0-2 MVC) were within one at halftime, but Cedar Falls (2-1, 1-1 MVC) built a lead in the second half led by 17 points from Madison Wood. Maddie Koolbeck paced Jefferson with 16 points and Dani Stromert led the team with six steals and six assists.

DUBUQUE SENIOR 82, C.R. WASHINGTON 69

Danielle Franklin finished with a double-double for Washington (0-2, 0-2 MVC) with 27 points and 10 rebounds in the loss at Dubuque. Kristie and Katie Sommer scored 29 and 26 points respectively for Senior (2-1, 1-1 MVC).
