IOWA CITY – The City High volleyball team  team defeated cross-town rival West in a regional semifinal match Thursday night.

After West jumped out to a 2-1 lead, The Little Hawks rallied to win the final two sets, taking the match in five games. City will take on Burlington on Tuesday at West High for a berth in the state tournament. Game time is 7  p.m., and tickets are $6 for all.
