IOWA CITY – City HIgh senior Josh Crosby has made his decision.
He will continue his baseball career at Minnesota State next year.
“It felt like a really good fit and they have had great success.” Crosby said.
Minnesota State is a Division II powerhouse, winning the D-II College World Series two of the last three years. It also have won the Northern Sun Conference title the last five years in a row.
Crosby had several options to play collegiate baseball next year, including Indiana State, South Dakota State and the University of Miami (Ohio), just to name a few.
Crosby’s decision came on Wednesday afternoon.
“Minnesota State stood out because they have some amazing facilities.” Crosby said. “I love to fish so the weather in Minnesota and lakes everywhere will keep me busy outside of school and baseball.”
