Helped lead Mt. Pleasant to the Class 3A state basketball title, the first in school history. They beat Western Dubuque in the championship 66-62 in double OT. Conrad scored 8 points and had 2 steals in the title game, but he hit the game tying 3-pointer with less than five seconds to play in the first overtime to send it to a second OT. The Panthers would eventually go on to win. He averaged 6 points a game during the regular season. Mount Pleasant finished 26-1.
Cedar Rapids Jefferson
Olson helped lead the J-Hawks to their third straight state tournament appearance. He averaged 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game. Olson was named 2nd Team All-State in Class 4A. Jefferson finished 15-9 after losing to Ankeny in the first round at state. He had 10 points and 5 rebounds in the loss to Ankeny.
Russell helped lead Mount Vernon to just their second ever state title, and first in 39 years. They came from 15 back to beat Fort Dodge St. Edmond 48-45. Micah led the team with 19 points in the championship game. He averaged 17 points a game in 3 games at the state tourney, third best in Class 2A. During the season he averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds per game.
