BERNARD — Western Dubuque senior bowler Austin Meeker came through under pressure last week at the 1A State Bowling Tournament. Meeker came in averaging 182 per game, but he rolled a 224 average at state, helping to lead the Bobcats to back-to-back team titles.

In his second game at state, Austin started off with 10 straight strikes. He just missed a perfect game, rolling a state tourney-high 288.
