Wash’s Cain commits to play football at North Dakota

Cedar Rapids Washington wide receiver-defensive back Ryan Cain has committed to play college football beginning next year at the University of North Dakota.

Cain had eight catches for 89 yards and two touchdowns this season for Washington, helping them to the Class 4A state playoff quarterfinals. He also had 24 tackles and four interceptions, one returned for a touchdown.

Cain missed the first four games of the season with a broken collarbone. He also reportedly had offers from Northern Iowa and South Dakota.
