CEDAR RAPIDS XAVIER 63, WATERLOO WEST 47 – Brian Ropp and Ben McDermott combined for 31 points and seven 3-pointers to lead Cedar Rapids Xavier to a Mississippi Valley Conference victory at home.

Ropp finished with 17 and McDermott 14 while Mack Mattke added 11 for the Saints (5-8, 4-4 MVC).

Dale Jones scored a game-high 21 to lead the Wahawks (6-7, 3-6 MVC).

DUBUQUE SENIOR 51, IOWA CITY HIGH 50 – Domen Zevnik hit a shot from 30 feet away as time expired to give Dubuque Senior a Mississippi Valley Conference victory at home.

Cortez Barfield led City High (5-9, 2-7 MVC) with 11 points while Jerel Moore and Alex Perry added 10 points apiece.

Moore and Ronald Thompson each pulled down a team-high six rebounds.

LINN-MAR 71, WATERLOO EAST 58 – Marcus Paige scored a game-high 22 points to lead Linn-Mar to a Mississippi Valley Conference victory at home.

Jimmy Roth added 14 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Lions (10-2, 6-2 MVC).

Daeton Hoskins scored 13 points to lead a trio in double-figures for the Trojans (3-9, 1-7 MVC).

IOWA CITY REGINA 69, TIPTON 41 — Ryan Lynch had a big night for the Regals (11-3, 8-2 Cedar Valley) with 26 points in a win at home.

In 20 minutes of play Lynch went 9-for-11 from the field (3-for-4 3-point goals), hit all five of his free throws, with no turnovers, two assists, a block and a steal.

Tipton was led by Scott Pelzer’s 11 points.

NORTHEAST 63, CEDAR VALLEY CHRISTIAN 42 — Mitchell Haferbier led all scorers with 24 points to lead host Northeast Tuesday night at Goose Lake.

Tom Scroggs led Cedar Valley Christian (8-7) with 10 points, while Will Muhlbach added eight to go along with a team-leading 12 rebounds.
