Beckman moves on with 31-0 route

 

CEDAR FALLS — Derek Hammann rushed for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Dyersville Beckman to a 31-0 win over Clarion in a Class 2A prep football quarterfinal last night at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.

Hammann scord on runs of 2 and 6 yards as the seventh-ranked Blazers improved 11-1. Clarion finishes 7-5.

Connor Golden completed 14 of 25 passes for 158 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown pass to Robbie Anstoetter. Ty Troutman caught seven passes for 68 yards.

Kirby Kendrick also scord for Beckman, on a 5-yard run, and Adam Noethe kicked a 37-yard field goal.
