Eight-player teams across the state begin football practice today in preparation of the Week Zero games on Aug. 19.

Eastern Iowa teams in Central City, Springville, West Central, Lansing Kee and Midland, as well as the brand new program at Cedar Valley Christian in Cedar Rapids, officially get the season started today.
