Springville Orioles Win Tri-Rivers Volleyball Conference

The Lady O’s went undefeated in conference play and wrapped up its second consecutive volleyball title Tuesday night at Machovec Gymnasium in Springville. With a 9-0 record, the Orioles will prepare for their conference tournament on Saturday at Cascade, before hosting Central City in their Regional opener on Wednesday at 7pm.

Rumors of the death of girls sports at springville since the departure of the class of 09′ must have been unfounded. 2 conference vball championships, 1 softball, strong showing in golf and track. Someone must of forgot to tell these girls they cant compete. Great job girls.

Apparently the ladies of springville did’nt buy into the death of womens sports (as hinted by the gazette and others) at springville after the class of 09 departed. 2 conference championships in volleyball, 1 softball and regional advancemen in golf and state track. Between great coaches and good hard working kids the beat goes on.
Thats great girls.Keep it up
On and off the volleyball court, these young women make us proud to be Oriole Fans.
