Cedar Rapids Kennedy defensive end/linebacker Christian French said after his team’s 48-6 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson on Friday night that he is down to six colleges as possible destinations to play football next year.

French’s final six are (in no particular order) Iowa, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Missouri, Texas A&M and Oregon.

He plans to make visits this month to A&M and Oregon and hopes to make a decision by late October.
