Coaches Huddle: West Branch and BGM

West Branch Coach Butch Pedersen and BGM’s Jerod Burns joined Jeff Johnson of Source Media Group to discuss their seasons. West Branch is 5-0, BGM 4-1.
The coaches also discussed their programs. Pedersen has won three state championships, while Burns has literally built BGM from scratch.
We also talked about the possibility of re-classification in two years.

Props to Coach Burns for building a football program from basically nothing! I can’t even imagine the dedication it takes to change the kids’ attitudes from a multitude of losing seasons and turn it around and get to the playoffs. Amazing job Coach! You are definately an asset to the school.
