  1. Disappointed Kaleb Buhrow from West Central Maynard was left off your listing of third team all-staters from Gazette area only. They do sell the Gazette in Maynard and if Joe Manning from Lansing Kee is listed for 2nd team, one would think Buhrow would be listed also since Maynard is about halfway between CR and Lansing.

  2. Got it fixed. Our apologies. The all-state sheet had it listed as “WCM” … didn’t realize that was West Central until your post. Thanks.

  3. youve got to be kidding me— while Oleninzac may be a good qb you need to check the all time state stats—Michael Schwenk out did him in every catagory exept rushing the ball….tds in a season—53 passing and 13 rushing…completions 224, QB rating 170 with only 13 ints in over 360 attempts. over 2900 yds passing—no one else close…. 7-3 record on what was supose to be a rebuiling year with allstate wonder boy Johnny Swaller gone…the stats stand on their own with no politics involved. All state awards should be discontinued…..
