Notable: North Tama has yet to be scored on in the postseason, defeating Highland (56-0), North Mahaska (45-0) and WACO (39-0). The Redhawks have given up 18 points this season with shutouts in 10 games. Newman has beaten East Buchanan (41-14), Wapsie Valley (14-0) and Cedar Falls NU High (35-7) in the postseason, the latter avenging its only loss. Dylan Youel has 1,185 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns for North Tama, and QB Brandon Boerm has thrown for 1,166 and rushed for 771.
Iowa City High vs. Cedar Rapids Xavier

Notable: The regular-season game between these two was decided on a late Ellis Jordan kickoff return for a touchdown that gave City High a 24-17 victory. Xavier has won nine in a row since. Saints have beaten Pleasant Valley (38-21), Linn-Mar (41-3) and Clinton (28-6) in the postseason. City High has wins over Iowa City West (45-20), Dubuque Hempstead (24-7) and Cedar Rapids Washington (35-14). Little Hawks have had rematches from regular season in all postseason contests. QB Joe Sayre has 2,098 passing yards and 17 TD throws this season for Xavier. WR Colin O’Connor has 65 catches for 1,070 yards and nine TDs. All are school records. QB and Iowa recruit A.J. Derby has 2,183 total yards and 33 TDs. John Chelf has 34 catches, 14 for TD.
