Clayton Ridge 28, North Linn 6 – Jordan Davis had 121 yards rushing and two touchdowns last night as Clayton Ridge notched its eighth prep football win of the season, beating North Linn in a Class 1A District 4 finale, 28-6, in Guttenberg.
It would have been the eighth straight shutout for host Clayton Ridge (8-1, 7-0), but the Lynx defense recovered a fumble and returned it to the end zone.

WILLIAMSBURG — It was a contrast of styles in high school football last night.
Clear Creek Amana came in with a vaunted passing offense. Williamsburg fielded an offense based on strong line play and a running attack.
The Raiders’ style prevailed, running all over Clear Creek Amana and stifling the Clippers offense in a 48-7 victory at Bob Murphy Stadium.
The Raiders won their first district title since 2006.
