Cedar Rapids Prairie Coach Blake Williams grew up playing multiple sports as a youth and prep at Decorah. Williams turned a decent high school career at Decorah into an All-American career for Wartburg, contributing to the Knights’ 1996 NCAA Division III national team title.

The MFL MarMac community suffered a severe loss this past weekend as a member of its wrestling family died Friday, sept. 11. Brent Ronald Blietz, 24, died from injuries sustained in a work related accident in Prairie du Chien, Wis., according to an obituary submitted to The Gazette.
