MEXICO CITY — The United States 16-and-under national girls’ basketball team completed a dominant run Friday, defeating Canada, 103-52, for the gold medal at the 2009 FIBA Americas Championship.
Kiah Stokes, a junior-to-be at Linn-Mar, registered three points and three rebounds in 10 minutes.
The United States finished 5-0 — winning by an average of 70 points per game — and earned a berth in the 17U FIBA World Championship.

CEDAR RAPIDS — There’s the smile. With Keenan Davis, there always seems to be the smile.
