You know, the one that touts the J-Hawks’ state-tournament appearances.
There’s space for more.
Cedar Rapids Jefferson takes aim at its eighth consecutive state appearance when it hosts hard-charging Cedar Rapids Kennedy in a Class 4A regional final.
First pitch is 7 p.m. Wednesday at Jefferson.

CEDAR RAPIDS — Andre Dawson said Tuesday that he won’t make a college football commitment until after the upcoming football season.
“I’m going to wait until the playoffs are over,” he said.
The all-state running back from Cedar Rapids Washington has taken unofficial visits this summer to Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska, and is planning visits to Iowa State and Purdue before summer’s end.
He’ll take official visits in the fall.

CEDAR RAPIDS — Andre Dawson’s inner alarm awakens him at 6 each morning.
“I don’t even need an alarm clock any more,” said the all-state running back from Cedar Rapids Washington. “I’ve been doing this since eighth grade.”
Practice officially begins in about three weeks — Aug. 10, for those counting down — but don’t be fooled. The majority of the successful football programs have been busy much of the summer.

Charles City softball coach Brian Bohlen, his assistants and the rest of the Comet patrons were checking their pulses during the bottom of the sixth inning and top of the seventh.
After all, Waverly-Shell Rock had a 5-3 lead on the Comets heading into Charles City’s next-to-last time at bat.
