Before I start on myself, make sure you check out the last post I made. ISU just doesn’t seem to grasp the idea an Iowa program needs an Iowa guy in the program to succeed (Even though it sounds like they tried to wrangle an Iowa guy this time around before hiring Jackson).
I’ve been released from the hospital and begin follow-up checkups this week. Still taking plenty of meds at home and don’t have an official word of how long I’ll have to be on them.

CEDAR RAPIDS — The tennis teams at Cedar Rapids Kennedy are still making quite a racket.
The defending state champion boys moved to 13-0 with an 8-1 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson on Tuesday. The girls defeated the J-Hawks by an identical score, improving to 12-1.

Charles City’s girls tennis team was playing well in the season’s second matchup with Oelwein Tuesday afternoon at Sportsmen’s Park.
Mother Nature, however, dictated that the matches would not be completed, at least on Tuesday.
