The Iowa City West girls’ track team will take a winning streak of nearly four years into the Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division meet Friday at Cedar Rapids Xavier.

The Women of Troy have not been beaten in a scored meet since the 2005 state meet. They will be pushed by Iowa City High. The meet begins at 5 p.m.

Cedar Rapids Washington is the favorite at the Valley Division girls’ meet at Linn-Mar. Washington’s boys also are picked to win at the Valley Division meet at Waterloo. The Mississippi Division boys’ competition is at Dubuque.

The Wamac Conference meets are Monday — boys at Epworth, girls at DeWitt.
