Monday’s cold, blustery, windy and occasionally rainy conditions at Cedar Ridge failed to slow down Crestwood’s Flynn Kelly.
The Cadet golfer posted a low round of 39 and meet medalist honors as Crestwood edged Charles City 177-178 in Northeast Iowa Conference play.
Kelly’s putter worked quite well, noted Charles City coach Ron Turner.
"That 39 was a tremendous score tonight from the back tee’s," Turner said. "I think he made a bunch of putts. He made a 10-11 footer on nine. When that’s going, that’s huge."
