Alex Rodriguez homered in his spring training debut Wednesday. He was booed lustily by much of the crowd in Dunedin, Fla.
He should have been booed after the game. Apparently A-Roid took off in an SUV with his cousin. You remember Yuri Sucart, right? He’s the guy who supposedly got Rodriguez his steroids in the Dominican Republic and needled him up.

Since the 2009 state wrestling tournament is still fresh in our minds, I want you to share your top memories of the four-day event. Is it the Wagner/LeClere match? Bart Reiter winning his fourth title? Maybe you’re from Central Iowa and Nicholson’s win over St. John takes the cake?

When you’ve done something for 36 years, it’s no longer something you do but rather, it becomes a part of you. For wrestling referee Mike Braden, that part is nearly done. After nearly four decades of officiating, he is lacing up his shoes for the final time on Saturday, February 28.
