Two unusual things stuck out to me yesterday while sifting through a ton of sectional results.
First at the Class 1A sectional at Fairbank hosted by Wapsie Valley, only three wrestlers were in the 125-pound bracket. Strangely, it ended up being one of a few weights with a wrestleback. Welter won a tough battle with Mulnix in the finals, ending with Welter riding out Mulnix in the double OT tiebreaker for the win.
