Blood and guts

Belle Plaine 103-pounder Zakk Buch already had cotton swabs in his nose during the National Anthem. It didn’t take long for him to need a blood timeout. Just six seconds in the match had to be stopped for blood time. Buch battled the bloody and cotton-filled nose while wrestling fifth-ranked Tyler Hatch of Nodaway Valley. Buch rode out Hatch, but lost a hard-fought contest, 2-0.
